The MEDIA Programme offers support for independent producers to cover the costs of development of European films, TV programmes and multimedia for single, slate and interactive projects.
The MEDIA Programme supports the trans-national distribution of European films and TV programmes.
MEDIA funding supports all kinds of promotion to help European independent producers and distributors gain access to and participate in key European and international events and to promote European work in major international markets.
The MEDIA 2007 programme seeks to ensure that the latest technologies and trends are incorporated into the business practices of beneficiaries of the programme through support schemes for pilot projects and "Growth and Audiovisual: i2i Audiovisual“.
MEDIA Programme
MEDIA Programme is the EU support programme for the European audiovisual industry. In November 2006, the European Parliament adopted the Programme MEDIA 2007 (previously MEDIA I, II, Media Plus, Media Training) and for a period 2007 – 2013.
MEDIA desk Croatia
MEDIA desk Croatia is a promotion and information office for the European Commission's MEDIA programme which offers a wide variety of funding for film and television, from training through development and distribution to markets, events and festivals.
MEDIA desk Croatia is hosted by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. It offers advice and answers enquiries from Croatian film and TV professionals, explaining various funding strands and eligibility criteria.
