About Promotion / Festivals
MEDIA funding supports all kinds of promotion to help European independent producers and distributors gain access to and participate in key European and international events and to promote European work in major international markets.
This funding supports recognizes and strengthens the role of festivals in the promotion of European films and widening cultural diversity.
The MEDIA umbrella stand is present at major audiovisual markets (MIP-TV, MIP-COM, Cannes and Berlin).
Programmes
Audiovisual Festivals
Funding is available from €10 000 up to €75 000.
Promotion and Access to Markets
The support can cover up to 50% of the total eligible costs.
Promotion in MEDIA Programme Non-member Countries
The support can cover up to 50% of the total eligible costs.
