MEDIA desk / MEDIA Antenna

Member countries of the MEDIA 2007 Programme

Each member country of the MEDIA 2007 Programme is obliged to establish a MEDIA desk. Countries with a high audiovisual production capacity (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom) have a possibility to establish additional MEDIA Antennas.

MEDIA desk

MEDIA desk works on promotion and dissemination of information about the MEDIA 2007 Programme; provides advisory assistance to all those who are willing to participate in the Programme as well as closely collaborates with the Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

MEDIA DESKS & Antennae is a network of information about MEDIA Programme support and initiatives to support the European audiovisual industry.

The MEDIA desk Croatia was established within the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.

Executive Agency (EACEA)

The MEDIA Unit of Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for:

• preparing and launching calls for proposals (or tenders)
• evaluating and pre-selecting applicants and projects
• preparing and signing project agreements
• monitoring projects (intermediate reports, final reports)
• communicating with and informing beneficiaries
• on the spot checks.

Call for proposals

Call for proposals, depending on activity, is published once or twice a year, in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

• Guidelines
• Budget form
• Evaluation guide.
