Zahvaljujući međunarodnom karakteru programa, sudionici imaju priliku razviti snažnu međunarodnu mrežu kontakata: osim scenarističkih sesija i sastanaka s predstavnicima industrije, radionice uključuju posebne online događaje posvećene razmjeni vještina i pronalaženju produktivne suradnje.

TFL Next consists of carefully crafted and intense short-term online workshops to help audiovisual professionals move forward with their projects or their path within the industry.
This is a unique opportunity to enhance, share and test ideas with peers and tutors from all over the world. In addition, thanks to TFL Next's global experience, the participants will have the chance to develop a strong international network: on top of the script sessions and meeting with industry representatives, participants will gather during special online events aimed at exchanging skills and finding productive collaborations.
TFL Next Green Narratives is a programme that supports story editors, writers and directors interested in crafting inclusive and environmentally conscious narratives.
More specifically, this workshop is designed to support filmmakers interested in developing feature film projects that authentically integrate inclusive environmentally conscious storytelling. By inspiring new creative perspectives and promoting social and environmental awareness, the programme aims to open a dialogue around alternative and regenerative narratives in the cinema of the future.
The TFL Next Green Narratives workshop is a dynamic and immersive programme combining masterclasses, collaborative exercises, and hands-on mentorship. The focus is on the development of each selected project, through group and individual sessions, to strengthen the story dramatically, support the social and climate related ambitions of the writer, while actively maintaining creative autonomy.
The workshops focuse exclusively on treatment development, ensuring that participating writers refine their projects with support from dedicated story editors and experienced mentors. Writers will receive bespoke editorial guidance on developing stories which at their core integrate climate dynamics, sustainability themes, and socially relevant elements in their films. By engaging with climate storytelling experts, script tutors and filmmakers, participants will develop narratives that not only reflect today’s environmental challenges but also offer visions of sustainable, inclusive futures.
The programme welcomes 20 feature film projects at an early development stage presented by international scriptwriters or writers/directors together with a producer, which will be selected and divided into 5 groups. Each of them is guided by a tutor with a wide international experience as a script consultant. On top of this, 5 story editors will benefit on a hands-on training and join a specific group.
The workshop will be structured into 3 different online modules:
