DKE – Ured MEDIA Hrvatske s ponosom objavljuje 11 kratkometražnih filmskih projekata odabranih za 11. izdanje međunarodne radionice "Let's Pitch Some Shorts!", koja će se održati od 15. do 17. lipnja o.g. na Sveučilištu VERN' u Zagrebu, te pitching forumu koji će se održati s početkom u 10:30 sati 18. lipnja o.g. u kinu Kaptol Cinema Boutique u Zagrebu.
Ovo je izdanje zabilježilo ukupan, rekordan broj od 78 prijava iz 10 zemalja, a među njima je odabrano 11 projekata, povezujući nove talente iz cijele Europe.

Svi sudionici dobit će profesionalnu edukaciju, mentorsku podršku te priliku predstaviti svoje projekte pred međunarodnim stručnim žirijem i profesionalnom publikom.
Za provedbu radionice zadužena je iskusna i renomirana njemačka filmska producentica Roshanak Behesht Nedjad. Svoju je karijeru u filmskoj industriji započela kao koordinatorica filmskih festivala i voditeljica produkcije, a 1999. godine u Berlinu suosnovala je svoju prvu produkcijsku kuću Flying Moon, koja je do 2014. producirala niz autorskih filmova ovjenčanih s više od trideset međunarodnih nagrada. Godine 2015. u Berlinu je suosnovala produkcijsku kuću In Good Company, usmjerenu prvenstveno na međunarodne koprodukcije europskih igranih filmova. Članica je Europske i Njemačke filmske akademije te diplomantica i mentorica najpoznatijega europskog edukativnog programa za filmske producente EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs.
Događanje organiziraju DKE – Uredi MEDIA iz Hrvatske, Cipra, Crne Gore, Češke, Estonije, Grčke, Mađarske, Slovenije i Srbije, u suradnji s Filmskim centrom Crne Gore, Umjetničkim vijećem Malte te Organizacijom za europske programe i kulturne odnose na Cipru.
Let's Pitch Some Shorts! nije samo platforma za usavršavanje – već i siguran, inkluzivan prostor za razmjenu raznolikih perspektiva, autentičnih glasova i hrabrog filmskog izričaja. Forum potiče kulturnu razmjenu, koprodukciju i međusobnu suradnju, stvarajući prostor u kojem talenti rastu, a ideje prelaze granice.
Podrška, nagrade i industrijska suradnja
Događanje ove godine, u suradnji sa SFC | Rendez-vous Industry (Cinema de Demain), odabranim nositeljima projekata pruža posebnu podršku. SFC | Rendez-vous Industry osigurava dvije akreditacije odabranim nositeljima projekata (vrijede od početka SFC | Rendez-vous Industry u nedjelju tijekom Festivala u Cannesu), čime im se omogućuje sudjelovanje u četverodnevnom industrijskom programu u Cannesu. Odabrani nositelji projekata moći će sudjelovati u različitim događanjima SFC | Rendez-vous Industryja – Breakfast, Meet The Experts & Workshop (uz prijavu za jednog od autora), panelima, ključnim predavanjima (keynotes), razgovorima s redateljima (Directors' Talks), Happy Hours i drugima.

The Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Office Croatia proudly announces the 11 short film projects selected for the 11th edition of the international workshop "Let's Pitch Some Shorts!", taking place from 15 to 17 June 2026 at the University VERN' in Zagreb, including the pitching forum, to be held on 18 June 2026 starting at 10:30 AM at the Kaptol Cinema Boutique in Zagreb.
This edition received a total of 78 applications from 10 countries. Out of these, 11 projects were selected, representing an exciting mix of emerging voices from across Europe.

Each participant will receive professional training, one-on-one mentorship, and the opportunity to present their projects before a professional audience and an international jury.
The workshop will be led by the experienced and renowned German film producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad. She began her career in the film industry as a festival coordinator and production manager, and in 1999 she co-founded her first production company, Flying Moon, in Berlin. By 2014, the company had produced a notable slate of arthouse films that earned more than thirty international awards. In 2015, she co-founded In Good Company in Berlin, a production outfit focused on international co-productions with an emphasis on European feature films. She is a member of the European and German Film Academies and a graduate and mentor of the most well-known European training programme for film producers, EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs.
The programme is organised by the Creative Europe MEDIA Desks in Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, in collaboration with the Film Center of Montenegro, Arts Council Malta, and the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations in Cyprus.
Let's Pitch Some Shorts! is not only a professional training platform but a safe and inclusive space for the exchange of diverse perspectives, underrepresented voices, and bold new storytelling. It is a place where collaboration replaces competition, where co-productions are born, and where cultural exchange is encouraged through mentorship, community, and meaningful dialogue.
Support, Awards and Industry Collaboration
This year, in collaboration with the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry (Cinema de Demain), the programme offers dedicated support to the selected project-holders. The SFC | Rendez-vous Industry provides two accreditations to the chosen project-holders (valid from the start of the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry, on the Sunday of the Festival de Cannes), allowing them to participate in the 4-day industry events held in Cannes. The chosen project-holders will be able to take part in the various SFC | Rendez-vous Industry events – Breakfast, Meet The Experts & Workshop (upon registration for one of the filmmakers), Panels, Keynotes, Directors' Talks, Happy Hours and more.
