DKE – Ured MEDIA Hrvatske najavljuje MEDIA događanja u sklopu 79. izdanja Međunarodnog filmskog festivala u Cannesu!

Kreativna Europa MEDIA i ove je godine prisutna u Cannesu (12. – 20. svibnja 2026.). MEDIA štand bit će središnje mjesto za sastanke, profesionalne razgovore i umrežavanje. Predstavnici DKE – Ureda MEDIA svakodnevno će pomagati u pronalaženju kontakata, odgovarati na upite vezane uz otvorene pozive i mogućnosti sufinanciranja putem Potprograma MEDIA Programa Kreativna Europa.

Izdvajamo sljedeća događanja:

15. svibnja 2026.

Razgovor s izvršnom potpredsjednicom Hennom Virkkunen / Oblikovanje budućnosti europskog audiovizualnog krajolika održat će se od 14:30 do 15:15 sati. Razgovor s izvršnom potpredsjednicom Europske komisije Hennom Virkkunen o budućnosti europskog audiovizualnog i medijskog sektora – od javnih politika i inovacija do globalne konkurentnosti – moderirat će novinarka Marjorie Paillon. Mjesto: Palais des Festivals – Press Conference Room

16. svibnja 2026.

'Koktel umrežavanja u području koprodukcije' s korisnicima poziva europski mini-slate, slate, korazvoj održat će se od 17:45 do 19:00 sati. U sklopu događanja sudjelovat će i producentice Rea Rajčić i Tina Tišljar iz hrvatske producentske kuće Eclectica.

17. svibnja 2026.

Predstavljanje inovativnih projekata financiranih kroz potprogram Kreativna Europa MEDIA održat će se od 11:00 do 12:00 sati. Predstavit će se tri inovativna projekta podržana kroz Potprogram MEDIA:

  • Houston AI – alat za predviđanje filmskih prihoda i tržišno planiranje
  • Publikum – rješenje koje audiovizualnim profesionalcima pruža precizne i dubinske uvide u njihovu publiku
  • Smart Nina – sveobuhvatno rješenje koje nudi cijeli raspon usluga lokalizacije

Mjesto: Kreativna Europa MEDIA štand – Paviljon 124 – International Village Napomena: potrebna je market akreditacija, nije potrebna prethodna registracija.

18. svibnja 2026.

Događanje za umrežavanje u području inovacija programa Kreativna Europa MEDIA @ Cannes održat će se od 11:00 do 12:30 sati. Cilj događanja je stvoriti sinergije među financiranim projektima koji se često bave sličnim izazovima (distribucija, podaci, angažman publike, novi poslovni modeli), potaknuti suradnju izvan inicijalnog projekta te razviti transnacionalna partnerstva radi maksimiziranja europskog učinka podržanih projekata. Sudionici će predstaviti svoje tvrtke i trenutni status projekta te raspravljati o glavnim izazovima u razvoju inovativnih tehnologija za europsko tržište.

Mjesto: Innovation Village (Pantiero) – pristup s festivalskom akreditacijom Napomena: sudjelovanje je moguće isključivo na poziv.

Informativna sesija o pozivu 'Europski prodajni zastupnici '(CREA-MEDIA-2025-FILMSALES) održat će se od 10:00 do 11:00 sati. Otvoreno za sve europske prodajne zastupnike. Mjesto: Kreativna Europa MEDIA štand – Paviljon 124 – International Village Napomena: potrebna je market akreditacija, nije potrebna prethodna registracija.

Posebno ističemo da će se u ovogodišnjem programu Međunarodnog filmskog festivala u Cannesu prikazati 19 filmova podržanih putem Potprograma MEDIA, od kojih je 7 u službenoj konkurenciji.

Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Office Croatia announces MEDIA activities taking place as part of the 79th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival!

Creative Europe MEDIA will once again be present in Cannes this year (12 – 20 May 2026). The MEDIA Stand will serve as a central meeting point for professional discussions and networking. Representatives of the Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Office will be available daily to assist with identifying contacts, responding to inquiries related to open calls, and offering guidance on co-financing opportunities through the MEDIA Sub-programme of Creative Europe.

Fireside Chat with Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen / Shaping the Future of Europe's Audiovisual Landscape will take place from 14:30 to 15:15. A conversation with Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen on the future of Europe's audiovisual and media sectors – covering policy, innovation, and global competitiveness – moderated by journalist Marjorie Paillon. Venue: Palais des Festivals – Press Conference Room

16 May 2026

Co-production networking cocktail with the MEDIA Content Cluster beneficiaries (mini-slate, slate, co-development) will take place from 17:45 to 19:00. An informal networking cocktail for MEDIA Content Cluster beneficiaries (mini-slate, slate, co-development), with the participation of producers Rea Rajčić and Tina Tišljar from the Croatian production company Eclectica.

Showcase of Creative Europe MEDIA-funded Innovation Projects will take place from 11:00 to 12:00. Three innovation projects supported through the MEDIA Sub-programme will be presented:

  • Houston AI – a film revenue forecasting and market planning tool
  • Publikum – a solution providing audiovisual professionals with precise and in-depth insights into their audience
  • Smart Nina – an all-in-one solution offering the complete range of localisation services

Venue: Creative Europe MEDIA Stand – Pavilion 124 – International Village Note: Market accreditation is required. No prior registration necessary.

18 May 2026

Creative Europe MEDIA Innovation Networking Event @ Cannes will take place from 11:00 to 12:30. The event aims to create synergies between funded projects that often address similar challenges (distribution, data, audience engagement, new business models), encourage collaborations beyond the initial project, and foster transnational partnerships to maximise the European impact of supported projects. Participants will present their companies and the current state of their projects, as well as discuss the main challenges of developing innovative technologies for the European market.

Venue: Innovation Village (Pantiero) – accessible with festival Badge Note: Participation is by invitation only.

We especially highlight that this year's programme of the Cannes International Film Festival will feature 19 films supported through the MEDIA Sub-programme, 7 of which are in the official competition.
